About Rachel
Rachel is an artist, shoemaker and sometimes-poet. ​She is currently an MFA student at UCSB where she is working in sculpture, film, drawing and collage.
Rachel's work plays with ideas and images from
fairytales
feminism
trash-art
biophilia
early cinema
colorization
collage
quilts
dreams
the unconscious
multi-species justice
autobiographical drawing
alternative pedagogy
DIY publishing and
functional art.
She hopes her work will offer a vision of a more ecocentric world.
