Attachment to Earth is an invitation to shift to a more secure and loving relationship with our planet.

 

To help myself remember my values, I've listed 8 of them on a postcard. I think of them as vows to Earth. Like Buddhist vows, I might not practice them perfectly. That’s ok, they’re meant to encourage and reorient me to live a life that’s gentler on the Earth.

 

If you ever find these values objectionable or insufficient, I would love to hear your thoughts. I hope they continue to evolve.
